As the sea ice goes out and summer approaches in Churchill Manitoba, the Churchill River Estuary fills with thousands of energetic and vocal beluga whales, birds migrate in droves to the rich land, and the stark Tundra becomes blanketed in bright wildflowers and teems with wildlife that is just waiting to be discovered. The mild summer weather and fluctuating tide make Churchill’s sights more accessible than any other time of the year.
We are excited to have a new partnership with Heartland Travel for all of our package tours! Packages are ideal for travelers who want the easiest way to plan their entire Churchill experience. If you’re looking for help with everything from flights to hotels, to tours, Heartland will help you organize every aspect of your northern adventure.
Nearly a century old, this WWI vessel has been ship wrecked 12 miles East of Churchill since 1960. Come experience her history and beauty during a short hike at low tide on this 2 hour tour.
