Coming 2023: Discover Churchill’s incredible northern lights experience package. 2023 Package Dates Coming in the New Year!

We are proud to be bringing you this all inclusive and unique package that has been carefully crafted and curated by North Star Tours.

Working together with other local businesses and companies, we are creating a truly unique way to experience Churchill’s rich heritage and enjoy the magical Aurora Borealis. Our group sizes are no larger than 14, as we prefer to keep our groups small for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests.

What will be Included:

  • Your choice of: A round trip flight from Winnipeg to Churchill, or Train from Winnipeg to Churchill & flight back from Churchill to Winnipeg.

  • 4 Nights accommodation at Churchill’s most recently renovated and most modern hotel, the Polar Inn & Suites.

  • All meals are provided. Snacks will be available during the evenings.

  • Cold Weather clothing manufactured by a local Churchill clothing company: Polar Adventure Clothing (Parka, ski pants & winter boots.)

  • An evening at Churchill’s world famous Aurora Domes.

  • An evening at Churchill’s newest Northern lights attraction, a modern Mongolian Yurt.

  • An evening at a remote cabin in a historic location known as Lighting Mountain. Transportation to the cabin is via a custom made Canadian track vehicle; a classic Bombardier B12 and a Nodwell.

  • An visit to the Prince of Whales Fort, a location rarely visited during the winter months. Here you will have a chance to see and photograph the interesting pressure ice.

  • Prince of Whales Fort guided tour by Parks Canada.

  • An exciting dog sled ride with Churchill River Mushing.

  • Town & Area Tour with North Star Tours (Includes visit to the Itsanitaq Museum.)

  • Cultural Presentation by a Local Hunter/Trapper.

  • Parks Canada presentation at the train station.

  • Potential wildlife sightings of Ptarmigan, Arctic Fox, Arctic Hare, Moose, Caribou, and Snowy Owls.
